TS-900 Fabrication Primer is a premium-grade, high solid, low VOC marine coating that not only acts as a rust preventative on steel and iron substrates but should be viewed as an integral component of any corrosion resistant coating system. It penetrates cracks around light rust and mill scale. Additionally, it protects corners and edges and resists exposure to the damaging effects of weather. Intended for use as a marine primer coat for properly prepared surfaces. Use on interior or exterior structural steel and under most any paint. Excellent for shop equipment, tanks, metal structures of all kinds, doors and handrails. Color: White or Grey. Finish is low sheen. Available in quart, gallon or five gallon cans.

It should be applied to a dry film thickness between 0.3-0.5 mil. For non-marine equipment or on iron or steel surfaces it should be applied to 0.6-0.8 mil dry film. NOTE: This marine primer is designed for application over surface-treated metal or pretreatment coatings (See TS 117 Pre-Treatment Wash Primer).
