A high quality
two-component multi-purpose fast-drying epoxy polyamide primer
formulated to provide outstanding adhesion, extra durability and
resistance to strong chemicals, spilled fuel, acids, alkalis,
solvents, salt spray and corrosion over a variety of substrates.
Specially formulated to out perform all one-part primers on
concrete, wood or metal substrates. Use in high traffic, high abuse,
industrial applications or in harsh environments. This product is
the recommended primer-undercoat for use in flooring applications
with TS 6433 Ever-Last Epoxy and TS 2 Hard-Shell Two Part Urethane.
Also recommended for use on ferrous metals, prepared steel, aluminum
and wooden substrates. Suitable for use on all interior and exterior
surfaces.
Acceptable for use as a primer for many Top Secret garage floor
paints, industrial floor coating, cement coating, professional
garage floor coating, epoxy paint systems, basement floor paint,
hardwood floor finish, concrete coating, epoxy floor coating or
waterproof floor paint systems. It provides good performance
and durability for up to 20 years in most applications.
Stats: Covers
400-450 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces such as concrete,
up to 500 square feet on non porous surfaces. Available in gloss,
semi-gloss and eggshell finishes. Available in clear, stock and
custom mixed colors and tint bases. Dry to the touch in one hour,
tack free in 8 hours, recoat in 24 hours. Pot life is 8 hours @ 70
degrees F. For added slip resistance in traffic areas add 1 lb fine
pumice stone or ground rubber. Low temperature curing (as low as 20
F.) Available in 1 gallon, two gallon and 5 gallon kits.
Recommended
preparation: For best results remove old paint, loose scale, grease,
oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast or power-wash prior to
the application of any cleaner or primer. Steel: TS 5679 Phos-Pro
Rust Converting Cleaner, TS 695 Etching Cleaner. When painting
cement or coating concrete, surfaces must be thoroughly dry before
the application of and cement paint application.
Thin & clean up:
Thinning not typically required. Use only with factory recommended
thinner, TS 605 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS 605
Thinner. Clean up with TS 605 Thinner or TS 610 Lacquer Thinner.
