drying, light weight marine grade nitrocellulose lacquer finish. An
excellent choice for use on all speed boats, drag and sport boats.
Boat owners choose this product for its beauty, light weight and
ease in application. The very same government spec product specified
by government agencies marine subcontractors. Conforms to government
specification numbers TT L 20 and TT L 32. Aero-Lac has been
formulated as a premium two coat marine finish system that will keep
your boat looking like new for years. It provides beautiful,
colorfast, durable and long lasting protection to a wide variety of
metal, wood, plastic, carbon fiber and composite marine coating
surfaces. Nitrocellulose has been added for quick drying and ease of
use. Our formula is resistant to grease, salt air, fungus, chemical
fumes, gasoline and most oils. When used as an aluminum boat paint
or fiberglass boat paint topside coating it provides exceptional
performance and durability. This product should not be used over
bear metal. Best performance will be obtained when it is applied
over metal surfaces properly pretreated and primed with lacquer
resisting primers. Available in clear, our 36 stock and custom
colors, 13 federal standard camouflage colors or pick from our list
of standard and safety marine coating colors. Custom colors are
available upon request.
Stats: Covers
400-500 square feet per gallon. Dry to the touch in 5 minutes, tack
free in 12 minutes, recoatable in 1 hour, dries hard in two hours.

colors. Custom colors available on request for an additional $5.00
per gallon. Available in quart, gallon and five gallon containers.
Recommended
preparation: For best results remove old paint, loose scale, grease,
oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast or power-wash prior to
the application of any cleaner or primer. Steel: TS 5679 Phos-Pro
Rust Converting Cleaner, TS 695 Etching Cleaner.
Recommended
primers: TS-117 Pre-treatment Wash Primer in combination with TS 664
Fiberglass & Aluminum Primer or TS 1184 Zinc Chromate primer.
Thin & clean up:
Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS 610 Lacquer Thinner.
Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS 610 Lacquer Thinner.
NOTE: Not an
antifouling bottom paint. Recommend TS 700 Old Sailor Bottom Paint
for antifouling paint duty. |
