Looking for
something more durable than Gel-Coat, easier to use than a
two-component epoxy and less hazardous than an aliphatic urethane?
Is a single component Direct To Metal coating (DTM) on your wish
list? Have you been praying for a durable environmentally
friendly marine coating? Does a bargain sound good? If you answered
yes to any of these questions you came to the right place because
this innovative approach rewrites the book on epoxy. That’s right,
TS-100 1 Part Epoxy won’t chalk, fade or yellow like two component
epoxy and it won’t spider-web like Gel-Coat making it a favorite in
rust preventative paint and marine restoration applications. Now you
can use our exclusive 1 Part Epoxy in your direct to metal paint
applications safely and economically without the need* for primer in
many instances. TS 100 One Part Epoxy is a one of a kind,
super-premium marine top coat that has its origins in government
spec coatings. What makes it unlike typical urethane or epoxy paint
is that it produces a film that remains both hard and
flexible at the same time. Its silicone epoxy base allows high
flexibility, heat resistance and UV stability while providing the
excellent hardness, scuff resistance and chemical resistance you
expect when you typically think of an epoxy or urethane. Since its
oxygen cured rather than catalyzed it holds its color and gloss
longer, is easier to work with and less hazardous to the
environment. No other product we are aware of has a wider range of
application possibilities. TS 100 adheres to almost anything and it
self levels like a dream. Brush it on and watch the brush marks
disappear before your very eyes! Industry veterans recognize this
product as being something very special. This waterproof rust
inhibiting paint offers excellent resistance to chemicals, spilled
fuel, brake fluid and acids. It is impact resistant to 500 PSI and
is heat resistant to 350+ degrees. It is color-fast, non-chalking
and resists cracking, chipping and peeling. Additionally, it covers
up to three times the area of typical paint because it's maximum dry
film thickness is only two mils. That’s half the thickness of a
sheet of paper! If that were not enough, it typically covers in just
one coat! What more could you ask of any coating? When used as an
aluminum boat paint or fiberglass boat paint topside coating it
provides exceptional performance and durability. 1 Part Epoxy
provides outstanding adhesion to Steel, Iron, Wood, Composites,
Ceramics, Vinyl, Aluminum, Fiberglass, Concrete and Masonry
surfaces. It is easy to use because it can be brushed, rolled or
sprayed and it cleans up easily. This lead-free formula is low VOC,
is engineered to provide extraordinary performance, durability, and
is non-toxic when dry so it is safe around children and animals.
Acceptable for use as a topside coating, waterproof paint, rust
preventative paint or protective coating for wood, aluminum boat
paint and fiberglass boat paint applications. Compatible clear
marine coatings include TS-1 Revolution Clear Marine Coating.
Compatible topside coatings include TS-4 Urethane Reinforced Alkyd
Marine Paints.
