Its silicone epoxy base allows high flexibility, high heat resistance and UV stability while providing the excellent hardness, scuff resistance and chemical resistance you expect when you typically think of an epoxy or urethane.  It holds its color and gloss longer, is easier to work with and less hazardous to the environment than typical epoxy floor coatings. Recommended preparation: Refer to TS 100 Applications page included with every shipment. For best results remove old paint, loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast or power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner or primer. Concrete: Strongly recommend the use of TS 695 Etching Cleaner as seen on our SUPPLIES page. Steel: TS 5679 Phos-Pro Rust Converting Cleaner. When painting cement, wood or coating concrete, surfaces must be thoroughly dry before the application of and cement paint application.

Recommended primers: Self priming on well prepared concrete in two coats, thin first coat 25% with TS 101 Thinner. Apply second coat undiluted. No clear coat is necessary with TS 100 1 Part Epoxy. Concrete & masonry-TS 6390 Ever-Last Epoxy Primer or TS 664 Etching Primer. Wood-TS 664 Etching Primer. Fiberglass, aluminum and composite materials-TS 117 Pre-Wash Primer in combination with TS 664 Etching Primer. Steel & iron: TS 117 Pre-Wash Primer in combination with TS 664 Etching Primer or TS 900 Fabrication Primer.

Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS 101 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS 101 Thinner or TS 602 Mineral Spirits.
