The secret is out on TS-100 1 Part Epoxy. This easy to use aerospace
coating replaces hard to use multiple component epoxy and urethanes
in aerospace applications. Its’ a one of a kind, super-premium
aircraft coating that is excellent for use on flight surfaces,
parts, equipment and infrastructure. A single component Direct To
Metal coating (DTM) that is durable and environmentally friendly. 1
Part Epoxy won’t chalk, fade or yellow like two component epoxy and
it is non-toxic when dry making it a favorite
high
performance aircraft coating.
1 Part Epoxy is a one of a kind aerospace coating that produces a
film that remains both hard and flexible at the same time.
Its silicone epoxy base allows high flexibility, heat resistance and
UV stability while providing the excellent hardness, scuff
resistance and chemical resistance you expect when you typically
think of an epoxy or urethane. Since its oxygen cured rather than
catalyzed it holds its color and gloss longer, is easier to work
with and less hazardous. No other product we are aware of has a
wider range of application possibilities. 1 Part Epoxy adheres to
almost anything and it self levels like a dream. Brush it on and
watch the brush marks disappear before your very eyes! Industry
veterans recognize this product as being something very special. It
is impact resistant to 500 PSI, heat resistant to 350+ degrees,
colorfast, non-chalking and resists cracking, chipping and peeling.
Additionally, it covers up to three times the area of typical paint
because its maximum dry film thickness is only two mils. What more
could you ask of any aircraft paint? 1 Part Epoxy provides unequaled
adhesion to Steel, Wood, Composites, Ceramics, Vinyl, Aluminum,
Fiberglass, surfaces. Excellent for use where spray restrictions are
in place because it is a self leveling formula that may be brushed,
rolled or sprayed.
Stats: Covers 400-500 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces such
as wood, up to 800 square feet on non porous surfaces. Dry to the
touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable * Very high in solid
content so it will require reduction in most applications.
Compatible for electrostatic spray. Low temperature curing (as low
as 20 F.) Available in 200 stock aircraft paint colors. Available in
low sheen, semi-gloss and gloss. Custom colors available on request
for an additional $10.00 per container.
Recommended preparation: For best results remove old aircraft
coatings, loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind,
blast or power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner or
aircraft primer. Steel: TS-5679 Phos-Pro
Rust Converting Cleaner, etch fiberglass and aluminum with
TS-695 Etching Cleaner. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry
before the application of any aircraft paints or primer.
Recommended primers: Wood-TS-664 Etching
Primer. Fiberglass and aluminum materials-TS-117
Pre-Wash Primer in combination with TS-664 Etching Primer.
Steel-TS-6390 Ever-Last Epoxy Primer.
Best performance will be obtained when used over lacquer resisting
primers including TS-664 Etching Primer and TS-6390 Ever-Last Epoxy
Aircraft Primer. Recommend TS-1184 Zinc
Chromate Primer for anti-corrosion protection.
Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner,
TS-605 Thinner. Clean all equipment
thoroughly with TS-101 Thinner or TS-602
Mineral Spirits.
Accelerate/Harden: See TS-160
Accelerator/Hardener on SUPPLIES
Page.
NOTE: Acceptable uses: aircraft paint schemes,
aircraft finish, aircraft paint and coatings, aerospace coating,
aircraft paint, aircraft paint colors,
high
performance aircraft coatings. For use with: Clear aircraft
coatings, airplane paints and
primers, airplane paint, aircraft primer, aircraft paint and
coatings, aerospace coating, aircraft paint schemes,
aircraft clear coating and high performance aircraft coatings.
