TOP SECRET Aluminum Roof Paint is an aluminum
pigmented alkyd that restores metal roofs to better than new
appearance. The color comes from finely ground aluminum particles so
the color is much better than what manufacturers use. A permanent,
heat shield is created with the addition of aluminum to the alkyd
base lowering temperatures by as much as 20F indoors saving you
money. This highly durable aluminum roof paint provides exceptional
performance, good looks and durability for decades. Excellent for
repairing rusted or deteriorated galvanized metals. Outstanding for
use as a rust preventative roof paint or protective coating on
almost any surface. In many applications it will prime and finish in
just one application. It is resistant to water, grease, salt air,
fungus, mold, smog, moist oils and has excellent leafing qualities.
A fast-drying, easy-to-apply aluminum coating specially formulated
to withstand high temperatures without discoloring or breaking down.
Its aluminum pigmentation provides excellent rust preventative
qualities to roofing surfaces in harsh environments. Recommended for
use on the interior and exterior roof surfaces, radiators, smoke
stacks, fuel and oil storage tanks, metal railings, metal windows,
cranes, piping and structural steel. Not recommended for floors or
continual water immersion.
Stats: Covers 300-325 square feet at two mils dry. Dry to the touch
in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable * Very high in solid content
so it will require reduction in most applications. Available in
quart, gallon and five gallon containers.
Recommended preparation: For best results remove old roof paints,
loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast
or power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner or primer.
Steel: TS-5679 Phos-Pro Rust Converting
Cleaner, etch concrete, tile or asphalt materials with
TS-695 Etching Cleaner. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry
before the application of any roof coatings.
Recommended primers: Best when primer is used, however, it is self
priming in many applications. Concrete & masonry-TS-6390
Ever-Last Epoxy Primer or TS-664
Etching Primer. Wood-TS-664 Etching Primer. Fiberglass,
aluminum and composite materials-TS 117
Pre-Wash Primer in combination with TS-664 Etching Primer.
Steel & iron: TS-117 Pre-Wash Primer in combination with TS-664
Etching Primer or TS-900 Fabrication
Primer.
Thin
& clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner,
TS-605 Thinner. Clean all equipment
thoroughly with TS-605 Thinner.
Acceptable uses: RV roof paint, aluminum roof
coating, concrete roof paint, flat roof paint, aluminum roof paint,
metal roof paint, RV roof coating, tile roof paint, tin roof paint,
waterproof coating, steel roof coating, steel roof paint. An
alternative to: acrylic roof paint, aluminum roof paint, concrete
roof paint, elastomeric roof paints, epoxy
roof paint, flat roof paint, flat roof paints, rubber roof coating,
zinc roof paint or fiberglass roof paint.
