The revolution continues with 1-Part Epoxy-Clear. A clear version of
our break through 1-Part Epoxy! This easy to use refinishing system
is forgiving, easy to use and produces an attractive finish that
really holds up to abuse. The finish it produces is deceptively
soft, smooth and silky in appearance – but it is rock hard and
tough! The single component no-mix formula replaces hard to use
two-component countertop, sink, tile and tub refinishing products.
1-Part Epoxy Clear won’t chalk, fade or yellow like traditional
epoxy. The finish it produces is non-toxic when dry making it a
favorite of professional tub and countertop refinishing contractors.
What makes it different is that it produces a film that remains both
hard and flexible at the same time. Its silicone epoxy base
allows high adhesion, flexibility, heat resistance and UV stability
while providing the excellent hardness, scuff resistance and
chemical resistance you expect when you typically think of epoxy or
urethane refinishing products. It holds its gloss and clarity
longer, is easier to work with and less hazardous to use. 1-Part
Epoxy adheres to almost anything and it self levels like a dream.
Brush it on and watch the brush marks disappear before your very
eyes! Industry veterans recognize this product as being something
very special. A fully submersible, waterproof, rust inhibiting
finish that offers excellent resistance to chemicals, cleaning
agents, chemicals and acids. It is impact resistant to 500 PSI and
is heat resistant to 400 degrees. This low VOC lead free formula is
engineered to provide extraordinary performance, durability, and is
non-toxic when dry so it is safe around children and animals. Brush
roll or spray it on. Available in gloss and satin.
Stats: Covers 400-500 square feet per gallon on porous surfaces such
as wood, up to 800 square feet on non porous surfaces. Dry to the
touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable * Very high in solid
content so it will require reduction in most applications.
Compatible for electrostatic spray. Low temperature curing (as low
as 20 F.) Available in low sheen, semi-gloss and gloss.
Recommended preparation: For best results remove old coatings, loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind,
blast or power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner or
aircraft primer. Steel: TS-5679 Phos-Pro
Rust Converting Cleaner, etch fiberglass and aluminum with
TS-695 Etching Cleaner. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry
before the application of any aircraft paint schemes.
Thin & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner,
TS-101 Thinner. Clean all equipment
thoroughly with TS-101 Thinner or TS-602
