Zinc-Plate is absolutely loaded with Zinc! It has so much zinc in it
you could open your own plating shop with this stuff! You aren’t
going to find more zinc anywhere. Use Zinc-Plate as a heavy zinc
primer or as a rust preventative paint. A combination
Organic-Inorganic Zinc Rich formulation supplied ready-mixed with
Zinc Dust and Vehicle together to create a protective zinc coating.
Formulated with special components to provide a superior mechanical
and chemical bond while providing outstanding resistance to rust,
electrolysis, weathering and heat. A high zinc content industrial
coating intended for use on bare ferrous metals. Recommended for use
in all extreme weather and industrial or manufacturing environments.
Excellent for top coating weathered galvanized materials or for use
on metal panels and metal roofs. Holds up well under high heat, salt
spray, harsh weather conditions or severe atmospheric exposure. May
be top coated with most vinyl coatings, TS-100 1 Part Epoxy, TS-2
Hard-Shell Urethane, TS4 Urethane Reinforced Alkyd, 720 Pool coat
(chlorinated rubber) or TS 6433 Ever-Last Epoxy.
Stats: Covers
225-250 square feet per gallon. Dry to the touch in 30 minutes.
Weight solids 81%. Tack free in one hour. Allow 4 hours to recoat.
Airless or conventional spray is the recommended application method.
Airless tips should be approximately .027 inch orifice. Apply one
coat at 2.3 mils. Available in quart, gallon or five gallon cans.

Recommended
preparation: For best results remove old paint, loose scale, grease,
oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast or power-wash prior to
the application of any cleaner or primer. Steel: TS 5679 Phos-Pro
Rust Converting Cleaner, TS 695 Etching Cleaner.
Recommended
primers: None.
Thin & clean up:
Thinning not typically required. Use only with factory recommended
thinner, TS 605 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS 605
Thinner. Clean up with TS 605 Thinner or TS 610 Lacquer Thinner.
NOTE: Not an
antifouling bottom paint. Recommend TS 700 Old Sailor Bottom Paint
for antifouling paint duty
