Elasti-Cote is the ultimate for all aspects of building maintenance
including tilt-up construction, manufacturing facilities and
structures in chemical environments. This pure acrylic coating is
more flexible and more breathable than typical elastomeric paints
- making it superior. A wonderfully versatile, highly elastic, pure
acrylic pigmented exterior elastomeric Paint that may be applied in
temperatures below 40F. Pure acrylic remains more flexible and more
breathable than typical elastomeric Paints making it superior to
ordinary elastomeric paints. Widely used on tilt up commercial
buildings, interior and exterior factory and manufacturing buildings
or on structures in cold seasons and climates. A high solid content
formula that is extremely flexible for wood, concrete or metal
surfaces. It is a high-build exterior paint that provides long-term
elasticity, resistance to salt water spray and standing water and
excellent adhesion to surfaces previously coated with exterior
paint.
Stats: Apply the first coat at the rate of 3-5 mils (approximately
150 square feet per gallon), let dry and apply a second coat at the
rate of 65-70 square feet per gallon to equal 10-15 mils coverage.
Covers 100-120 square feet per gallon. Dry to the touch in 1 hour.
Not recommended for walking surfaces. Thin with regular clean tap
water only as necessary for even flow. Refer to our interior or
exterior paint colors charts for color selections. We can provide
you with any exterior paint colors conceivable, just indicate your
choice of our colors or send us a color sample and we will match it
for you. Available in Eggshell, Satin or Semi-Gloss sheen levels.
Apply by brush, roller or spray. Available in quart, gallon or five
gallon cans.
Recommended preparation: For best results remove exterior paint,
loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, blast or
power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner. Etch Concrete
and aluminum with TS 695 Etching Cleaner
as seen on our SUPPLIES
page. When using any exterior primer or exterior paint surfaces must
be allowed to thoroughly dry before application.
Recommended primers: Interior Primer choices include
TS-100-10 Peel Stopping Primer,
TS-102 Stain Blocking Primer,
TS-204-10 Sandable Primer,
TS-307-10 Oil Based Primer or
TS-401 Vapor Guard Primer.
Acceptable for use as
