Aqueous Epoxy should be your first choice when heavy traffic, the effects
of harsh weather or damage from children, animals or heavy traffic
quickly wears away typical interior or exterior paint. An innovative
water-based epoxy-acrylic blend that provides many of the favorable
characteristics of oil-based paints. A low VOC easy to use
water-based enamel paint that out performs latex paint; which is why
it ranks a ten! An excellent choice for refinishing interior and
exterior surfaces such as stairs, porches, handrails, doors, trim
and millwork. Use it around the house as a problem solver. Provides
a high level of corrosion, chemical and impact resistance not
typically offered by latex paints. Holds up to inclement weather,
salt air, heavy foot traffic, pool chemicals, constant wet and dry
conditions and the destructive effect of ultra violet rays. Aqueous
Epoxy
is an easy to use, water-based, environmentally friendly formula
that really performs. A durable interior and exterior paint
intended for use in high traffic, hard use areas where exceptional
weathering properties and excellent color retention are desired.
Excellent for use on decks, steps, railings or on large wooden
structures. Fast drying and acceptable for use in cold weather
conditions. Acceptable for use on pressure treated wood.
Stats: Two coats are recommended for best results. Practical
coverage is up to 300 square feet on sealed surfaces! Approximately
250-300 square feet per gallon on wood, masonry, concrete or
unsealed surfaces depending on texture and porosity. Dry to the
touch in 1 hour. Pot life: Not applicable. Available in quart,
gallon or five gallon cans. Not recommend for constant immersion
service, strong acid or chemical exposure, Apply by brush, roller or
spray. Available in satin and
semi-gloss. Available in 100 deck
paint colors.
Recommended preparation: For best results remove old paint, loose
scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, bead blast or
power-wash prior to application. Surfaces must be thoroughly dry
before the application of any wooden deck paint or wood preservative
deck coating system.
Recommended primers: Works best when used in combination with
TS 100-10 Peel Stopping Primer.
Thin & clean up: Thins and washes up easily with water.
Acceptable for use as: wood preservative deck coating system, porch
paint, pool deck coating, stair paint or as an alternative to
typical deck coatings applied to wooden or concrete surfaces. (See

applications). Acceptable for use as a decorative or non slip deck
paint, non slip porch paint or non slip stair paint when
Tred-Tex or
Gaco-Grip paint aggregates are
added. It provides good performance and durability for years in most
applications. Not recommended for: Use as garage floor paint, or in
areas subject to tire traffic. Not for continual immersion service.
