TS-103 Aluminum Coating is an aluminum pigmented alkyd formulated for use on automobile, truck and motorcycle components and parts. The color comes from finely ground aluminum particles. In fact; there's so much aluminum in it you could open your own plating shop with this stuff! It will actually conduct electricity there is so much metal in it! When used under the hood a permanent, heat shield is created with the addition of TS-103 Aluminum. When used as an aluminum coating or high heat paint on parts it provides exceptional performance and durability. Excellent for repairing rusted or deteriorated plated, galvanized or anodized metals. Outstanding for use as a rust preventative paint or protective coating. It’s a semi gloss aluminum coating for interior or exterior wood, metal, fiberglass, new or rusted metal that can withstand dry temperatures up to 400 degrees F. In many applications it will prime and finish in just one application. It is resistant to grease, salt air, fungus, chemical fumes, gasoline, moist oils and has excellent leafing qualities. A fast-drying, easy-to-apply aluminum coating specially formulated to withstand high temperatures without discoloring or breaking down. Its aluminum pigmentation provides excellent rust preventative qualities to vehicle surfaces in harsh environments. It is ideal for use under the hood, on trim, bumpers, trailer hitches, tools, equipment and structures subject to salt air environments. Recommended for use on the interior and exterior of cars, trucks, motorcycles, engines, motors, radiators, exhausts, fuel and oil storage tanks, metal trim and window frames.

Stats: Covers 300-325 square feet at two mils dry. Dry to the touch in 2-4 hours. Pot life: Not applicable * Very high in solid content so it will require reduction in most applications. Satin finish. Low temperature curing (as low as 20 F.) Available in quart, gallon and five gallon containers.

Recommended preparation: For best results remove old vehicle paint, loose scale, grease, oil and contaminates. Sand, grind, blast or power-wash prior to the application of any cleaner or automotive primer. Steel: TS-5679 Phos-Pro Rust Converting Cleaner, etch bare aluminum with TS-695 Etching Cleaner. All surfaces must be thoroughly dry before the application of any automotive coating system.

Recommended primers: Wood-TS-664 Etching Primer. Fiberglass, aluminum, steel and composite materials-TS-664 Etching Primer, TS-5672 Plastic Primer or TS-6390 Ever-Last Epoxy Primer.

Paint solvent & clean up: Use only with factory recommended thinner, TS-605 Thinner. Clean all equipment thoroughly with TS-605 Thinner.

Acceptable for use as an automotive finish for parts, paint for trucks, auto paint, metallic paint, automotive colors, car and truck paint, old vehicle paint, 4x4 paint, off road vehicle paint.
