AIRCRAFT PAINT
Aircraft paints do not typically last on aircraft much less a polish or wax. It is part of common maintenance to keep up on any aircraft to keep it looking new for a long period of time. We believe that TS 100 1 Part Epoxy, which is new technology to aircraft owners, is the best way to refinish, protect and maintain your aircraft's finish that we have seen or used so far. The best news yet is that this product does it without the need for repeated waxing, polishing or buffing.
Please understand that our TS 100 1 Part Epoxy is a departure from typical aircraft paint and coatings. Usually automotive lacquers and urethanes are the first choice for aircraft restorers, owners and maintenance managers; however, we believe that modern blends such as TS 100 1 part Epoxy are the way of the future.
Without being too technical, this product is special because it is an epoxy that is catalyzed by oxygen making it a big improvement over chemically catalyzed epoxies. Chemically catalyzed products typically yellow, chalk and have poor weathering properties. With oxygen as the catalyst the pigments remain intact and that greatly improves the longevity of the film.
What makes this product unlike anything else on the market today is that it is a blend of four resins. Typically one will see lacquer, urethane, varnish, alkyd or whatever at the paint store but blends are not typically available. This kind of coatings technology is something that has never been available to the public until now. It is a super premium waterproof product that takes impacts up to 500 PSI, heat up to 350 degrees, has exceptional UV resistance, typically covers in one coat, self levels like a dream and since it goes on so thin spreads up to three times further than typical paint making it very economical to use. Additionally, It is low VOC, easy to apply, and clean up after. Industry insiders acknowledge this product as being something special.
The new technology this product (TS 100 1 Part Epoxy) offers is unlike anything else. It is certainly different than traditional epoxy. Epoxies are loved because of the excellent adhesion, hardness and chemical protection they offer. Epoxies are brittle, they are quick to chalk, peel, yellow and discolor and are higher build than urethanes and lacquers making them heaver adding unwanted weight to the aircraft. TS 100 1 Part Epoxy, goes on thinner, has better chemical resistance, UV stability, colorfastness, gloss retention, heat resistance, flexibility and most importantly, goes on far thinner than urethanes, lacquers and other aircraft paint making it superior to all other aircraft coating choices.
TS 100 1 Part Epoxy will hold its color and gloss longer and with the need of buffing, waxing or clear coats! This aircraft paint is guaranteed to block out UVA and UVB sun rays, without wax or polish. Many favorable comments and letters come to us from satisfied aircraft owners and flight maintenance facilities on how happy they are with the product after using it.
