Peel-Stopping Primer (TS-100-10) is your insurance policy against peeling paint! Designed specifically for use on wood, it works like a glue to create an exceptionally strong bond. Then when top coated with paint it glues itself to that! Good thinking ‘eh? It provides excellent adhesion, flexibility, mildew resistance and film build making it the solution to the old problem of peeling paint on wood. It bonds to the surface forming a flexible membrane that glues down old peeling, blistering paint and creates a sound base for the new finish coat. Use it to establish a sealed uniform surface for the application of flat, satin, semi-gloss or gloss finishes.

It is recommended for use on previously painted surfaces where peeling, cracking, blistering and chalking have been a problem previously. Peel-Stopping Primer features excellent adhesion, flexibility, mildew resistance and high film build up making it a perfect choice to solve those old peeling problems. Intended for use on all previously painted surfaces including; wooden decking, wood siding, shakes and trim. It may also be applied to concrete, brick, stucco and clean metal surfaces. Peel-Stopping Primer is specially formulated for use with TS-99 Deck-Pro II and similar water-based coatings.

Stats: Easy application. Brush, roll or spray it on. Coverage is approximately 200-225 square feet depending on porosity. Dry to the touch in 1 hour. Pot life: Not applicable. Apply top coat within 48 hours for best results. Not recommend for constant immersion service, strong acid or chemical exposure. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Color: White or clear. Available in gallon or five gallon cans.

Recommended preparation: Refer to Application Instructions Sheet included with order, label directions and standard industry application practices. For best results sand to remove old paint, loose scale, wax, oil and contaminates. Concrete, masonry, tile, steel- strongly recommend the use of TS-695 Etching Cleaner. All wood surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned and dry before the application of primer or top coatings.

Thin & clean up: Thins and washes up easily with water.
